Greenville Listed #20 (out of America's 100 largest Metropolitan Statistical Areas) on Forbes.com's America's Best Bang-For-the-Buck Cities."

Greenville listed as #46 (out of 200) on Forbes.com's "Best Places For Business and Careers" Survey:

 South Carolina ranked #7 on the Small Business Survival Index 2009 (Small Business and Entrepreneurship Council ranked the states in order from friendliest to least friendly policy environments for entrepreneurship). SC was ranked higher than our neighbors (Georgia #20 and NC #39).

 Main Street named a "Great American Main Street" in October 2009 by the American Planning Association (APA). They chose Greenville for our people-oriented downtown:
